Well obviously it isn't a busy city at any time, but Sunday mornings are something else.

Apart from sticking a screen outside for the local pub clientele  to watch the odd sporting match,(to distract them from staying in the pub) it only looks busy when the school kids are doing a daily raid in the co-op. Other than that,it's more 28 Days Later sadly

"thanks to government support" - does this mean underwriting as with London City flights??

Subsidies and grants to local producers to help them up their game so they can provide the quality assurance needed to be a supplier to Tesco.... shame the meat plant/abattoir can't do the same.

Dandara are putting barriers up at the Castle Court car park on Farrants Way. Mustn't be keen on Tesco.

That's been on the cards for ages. It was announced shortly after the DoI said it was impossible to get any car park barrier system for the airport.

They never said that did they? They said the existing barrier system couldn't be repaired.

He said they couldn't afford to fix them  and that machines couldn't take manx £1 coins and that new barriers would cost around £250000. Reported in papers as.....

”Crookall admits department doesn't have money to fix barriers

Replacing broken car parking barriers at Ronaldsway Airport would have cost government more than £200,000.”

Talk about making up as you go😂

Apparently a pen and a linen bag are the freebies and double points for today only. I wonder if the prices are the same as Lake Road ?

Tesco have been giving double points on all shops in January and February at every store and online
