asitis
Just get it approved, it's all ready fucked up the whole village, a few more won't make any difference ! In fact let's have another bypass, and a spaghetti junction type island construction. 1
Dirty Buggane
Like the way they seem to be able to bypass planing for anything they so wish. Its like they have a MHK whisperer, or a cs in there pocket(you of course realise I am paraphrasing that great films,The Horse Whisperer and Indian in my pocket and no insult or slander is intended)
x-in-man
The bypass is not getting any closer - it looks like there has been some industrial units built where the road was going go, and some big earth banks the other side. At least the Whitestone pub has tidied up it's appearance a bit in readiness for all the new residents to come in and get a ding-ding meal or gammon and chips. Kopek
There's an option in planning to build 'affordable housing' OR make a payment in lieu thereof. 1

Oh yes I recall he has a goldfish !

Quite some years ago, while in England, I saw in an estate agent's window that the house description included floor area. I think it would be a good idea to enforce by law the publication of that data - unfortunately the builders/estate agents here would oppose that, and the MHKs would go along with that.

Or conversely, people want cheaper houses? They are not buying them blind - there's clearly a strong market? Dandara and the other housebuilders change what they're building over time to respond to what the market wants But never fear the DOI can deliver what you're after as they operate in a vacuum : https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/development-of-eco-friendly-homes-in-jurby-to-commence-in-very-near-future/
