Long years ago while growing up near Ramsey, I (we) often went fishing for whiting (?) which gathered at the end of the outfall from the Grand Island. Never ate them myself, the cat loved them though. Also the gulls dined handsomely on whiting there.

With (usually) 30% of the voting rights you have to make an offer but I don't think the other shareholders have to sell. At 50% it's a mandatory offer. Could be different of course with companies on the rock.

Depends on the build, but for a *good* bungalow that's about right. Most insurance companies have an online calculator, then add 10% IOM premium.

Consider the mass of the boat, the age of the bridge. Why? Something happened onboard would be my guess. These boats have a small crew.

Impossible comparison, UK is very diverse with big cities and glorious countryside. I don't miss travelling to the IOM but would like to be there a few weeks each year.

Untrue, just living on the rock would be so very inconvenient. Were the rebuild of the Golf Links hotel to have moved forward I may well have returned. Instead, just another ruin .

Ads only really pay when someone clicks on them. Impressions bring in very little.

Google has a script which defats ad blockers, so this could just be a sort-term solution.

Try paying to host a service like this. I do, it doesn't come cheap. The only real reason you have for not digging out some cash is that you're a tight-arse, many people do subscribe.
