John
Yep, was a real shame Theo, still you have 5 years to plan for next time.
Blade Runner
Perhaps you should have also promised public burnings at the stake for transsexuals. Seeing as they 'defy common decency' Does anybody know which Hansard that debate was recorded in?
molly
Theo, for what it's worth you had my vote this evening. I am deeply disappointed you didn't get in as I actually found what you had to say interesting when you were recently at my doorstep. Houghton couldn't even be bothered to show at my door, nor stick a manifesto through it. I really hoped it was time for Twit and Tw*t to get out. Common sense - not for Douglas North it seems. Thank you very much for your support. I truly regret not to have been able to deliver. Although the opponents have been dented they have survived for another 5 years. As a one-man band with a late start and a funny name I take comfort in the fact that 869 good people from Douglas North have given me their vote. It was a great experience and I have learnt a lot. Maybe next time.... 869 + 1 had you been in my constituency. Think folks missed out on a chance for change. To many folks in williston and surrounding areas vote for those who may get them a new gate for the garden or suchlike rather then issues that are for the good of the island. Seeing as they 'defy common decency' Does anybody know which Hansard that debate was recorded in? It's actually the Bill that 'defies common decency' http://www.tynwald.org.im/papers/hansards/2008-2009/kh10022009.pdf#page=

hissingsid
No it was the bus service which swung the vote, they have been promised one every 2 minutes seven days a week No it was the bus service that clinched it for Bill and Ben one every 2 minutes 7 days a week.
