Zammo Maguire
Now over to the speculation. Hill Street has only St Marys Court and St Georges Court with major employers (the majority of other buildings there are government offices) so which company and/or individual did they go after? What about the church?
Fossils
So everyone on the Island now knows the names of the "four individuals" except me. "The email reads: ‘The Isle of Man Financial Crime Unit wishes to advise all Isle of Man regulated entities that the following individuals and companies are currently part of an active criminal investigation with regard to a variety of serious offences, and would ask that a search of your records takes place for evidence of any type of business conducted with any of these individuals or companies, as well as any other entity associated to or with the subjects. ‘Any suspicion should be reported to the FCU and without delay. Grounds for suspicion should be clearly stated.’ It names four individuals, all of whom live in the Isle of Man, and 25 different Manx-registered companies"

It's neither of those. The police raided 8/9 Hill Street.

Risso
Is it possible that a kindly moderator or the original poster could amend the name of the thread title slightly please? AML is the name of a large employer in Douglas, and we certainly haven't been raided by the police, but the thread title is causing some confusion. Many thanks. Edit - just seen loads of AML companies registered, and they all seem to be involved in tax/finance. I'm sure that abbreviation has never caused confusion before... Is that an assumption that said company is big enough for people to have heard of you individually as opposed to your wider group?
