People tend to be more corrupt the higher up the ladder they are as, on balance of probabilities, many have had to do more corrupt things to get them there ahead of others. Especially in politics. I think the only difference now as opposed to then is that it is suddenly being swept out from under the carpet and a hysterical media is presenting it as though it is a big shock. It has gone on since the dawn of time but has been concealed. Animals do some pretty unsavoury things, and whilst most of us conform to the civilised norms we have set for ourselves for most of the time, humans are still just complex animals. I first arrived on the Isle of Man in March 1986 and in the Bounty Bar of the Manx Arms I was told in all seriousness that (Sir) Charlie Kerruish was not averse to a bit of that which the late Ted Heath is posthumously accused of... Both dead so it can be said and I have heard the same about one or two more Manx with the same issue but they yet live.. I worked alongside two people with the same issue. One had done his time and was working at the old Cannells' bakery on Broadway, Douglas, now gone. And the other in an amusement arcade also now gone. It is like the Salem witch trials. I don't believe you and think you are a f**king liar. Do you get a kick out of making things up? I won't say he is a liar because I've no way of knowing. However I do question his judgement in publishing on the internet what is at best salacious whispered gossip behind closed doors. I hear stuff all the time about living people that is probably lies or exaggeration and I certainly wouldn't dream of putting it up online. Everyone in the gossip chain adds their little bit and before you know it you have Ted Heath chucking bodies into the Channel. Shame the dead can't sue. You can say the author is crazy but I don't think that would be a defense from prosecution against such a libel charge. NASA wont sue me as I am calling their operation a fraud along with many thousands of others, I am not going up to the top man in NASA and calling him a satanist a pedophile and a murderer to him in person and publishing it in a book for all to read... It sounds like classic conspiracy theory fare to me. Get the gawps to believe a small lie (I showed it to him and he did nothing), then you have them and you can get them to believe the much more meaty stuff you mention above. Does it occur to you that perhaps a man of the age he would be by 1998 may just not want or be able to face the strain of suing any person who comes along making scurrilous allegations? And yes, possibly there are things that he would not have wanted to be disclosed in public, but that doesn't mean to say they are of the nature or severity that you are happy to believe.
