angelo
So the same guy that said a cross was inappropriate for the Ramsey memorial has now unilaterally decided that IOM children can't send Christmas gifts to Christian children elsewhere because someone with connections complained. What kind of society is ruled by such persons ?

What kind of society is ruled by such persons ? Well not a Christian society that's for sure. Thank God! (Well actually no need to thank God, as he doesn't exist! But you know what I mean). quilp
Is the prezzie thing something that is being encouraged in the schools? Or by some religious group? Is it some parents complaining to this ''connected'' guy. Why only christian kids? Can the OP provide the link?
Monkey boy
Can you elaborate please, a link, maybe? There isn't one, it's the same as the bollocks you see on facebook about Tesco refusing to serve a soldier and people not being allowed to fly England flags, it's all just frothy mouthed bullshit. quilp
What kind of society is ruled by such persons ? An increasingly secular one, one hopes. Charity should never be exclusive in its real sense. Nice idea, shame about the sectarianism.

So yeh, it sounded pretty true

The shoe box thing rings a bell, my kids were doing it years ago. Good on the Farmer's Boy, the game's up.
angelo
I guess some of the food and sweets parcels British kids received from the Americans in 1945 came from dastardly US church groups. How dare they !
woolley
Whether it's true or not, who could object to Christians giving other Christians gifts at Christmas? The only people liable to complain about such a thing would not be those of other religions but PC liberal morons.
