Moorhouse and Castletown Square

Did anyone hear this so called MHK on the radio today dithering over if the Commissioners should pedestrianise Castletown Square or not?!

He was dithering so much and thinking it was a good idea sometimes and a bad idea at other times.

The radio presenter tried to push him on whether he supports it or not and he said it's up to the Commissioners.

Whoever put him in the House of Keys, you deserve him.

How much is he getting paid again to sit on the fence?

I don’t know whether to be more disturbed by the fact that this man is a member of our government, or that he was responsible for educating young people.

You criticize politicians for getting involved in local, by comparison, not so significant matters and  not national matters of great importance yet you contradict yourself with this post.

He maybe should state on which he would be in agreement with but that is all, as he said, "It's up to the commissioners", and that is as it should be.

If it's up to the Commissioners, then he should  keep his beak out. Simples.

The trouble with divisive issues is that you're going to piss off close to half of the voters no matter which option you choose

Have you ever heard of the concept of democracy? Where it makes sense to poll what the majority of people think. Not just implement what you and your mates might think?

Not on the IOM when some people are desperately clutching on to jobs well above their pay grade it won’t.

That's the spirit!

That’s the reality. When you can’t even look comfortable wearing a shirt you know you’re trying to punch well above your weight.
