TheTeapot
I've decided to support this proposal wholeheartedly. Get it built.

You can see the area of South Ramsey in the background. But by the 1960’s it was rank, falling down, insanitary, slums. It was never a tourist attraction, or destination, or the centre of town. Anyone going from Queens Pier to the centre would have gone along the prom or Waterloo Road.
gettafa
The clearances may well have been long overdue, but to replace it in the 1970s with a Costa Del Ramsey tower block was plain wrong.
Guest
I fully support this exciting proposal. The island desperately needs a 24 hour access marina, there are thousands of pleasure craft around the Irish Sea that will visit us when we have all States of tide refuge. We must not repeat what happened at Port St Mary many years ago. Edited February 1, 2019 by Cypman Correction

Will be interesting to see what the prices are for a berth etc. I've more-or-less given up sailing but know many who do as I'm in yellow-welly heaven down here. Big complaint about the IOM is lack of 24 hour access.

Wilf may look a bit country bumpkin, but is a smart guy who knows about island life and marine life. Wilf will have the last laugh here, believe me. Is nobody taking notice of BallaDoc’s posts?
