I don't understand what you mean here. Because this whole "pie in the sky" dream scheme, will be shot down in flames for many reasons. In 6 months time ask the same question. It is a load of bollocks and I can't believe the amount of reasonably smart people getting sucked into this.
TheTeapot
In what way will he be having the last laugh though? It doesn't make any sense.

I agree, but it won't be Wilf's doing, it will be common sense or an exposé of what or what not is behind it, IMHO. It's two different things. Wilf's idea of a laugh is keeping Ramsey in the 14th century - often for the ends of himself and a few mates. 2

It's two different things. I have to say that Captain Pugwash or whatever his name is seems to have popped up out of nowhere on a few things recently. Not sure what experience he has of property development though. But the guy from AFD probably has a good chunk of the dosh needed.

Oh yes, I agree that it won't be Wilf calling the shots, but he has his finger on the pulse. I just hope that the fools on the (Tynwald) hill don't pay a single penny out.
hissingsid
Why would they this is a private enterprise and as such good luck I say. It will not cost anyone except the investors a penny piece and so why blow it out of the water ? Wilf is a first rate crank who has no vision and lives in the past. 1

piebaps
Robin Twatty-twat says the breakwater will be laid in 2020. They don't have planning permission yet, not even in principle. There's more chance of me getting laid in 2020. 3

Albert Tatlock
There's an estimated 65,000 yachts and pleasure craft traversing the Irish Sea. It's an ideal half way house for many going from the UK to the UK (NI) and Ireland and vice versa.

Donald Trumps
Yachts aren't likely to hang around waiting for a 2.45am tide They'll be moored up somewhere else & everyone asleep after an evening in the pub
