Why not "this is a great cover version", and leave the listener to decide whether it's better than the original. Otherwise the opening post is basically trolling Velvet Underground fans and Japan's version is good enough to stand on it's own without David Slyvian's vocals facing the impossible task of competing with Nico (or Nick Cave for that matter).
