All very sad ... but to be the main headline on the BBC News website????

"Man gets lost on holiday falls off cliff" does not require the BBC to fly out special correspondents to cover the aftermath live from a boat in the bay.

Self obsessed BBC blind to the fact more important things should be given coverage.

I was worried that this story would push Farage out of the headlines, but thankfully you only have to scroll a few centimetres to see a big picture of his open toad mouth.

War, authoritarianism, political paralysis and division, holding unrealistic claims to account. Do I need to go on?

These are more important than the misadventures of a minor celebrity.

There are many "who cares?" news items on the BBC and elsewhere. Al Jazeera is very often more interesting and cerebral.

Every news outlet (not just the BBC) is currently running with Mosley as the headline. It’ll probably change before the day’s over.   They’re all also running stories on wars etc (unless they’re in Africa).

Agree, he thought he was a good climber and was proved wrong...

Agreed. I’d sort of vaguely heard of him.

Are you serious?  The BBC is wall to wall 24/7/365 with war, global disaster, politics, pop stars, football etc and this is the hill you choose to die on?

Time to "touch grass" as the youth say.

The BBC believes it's the centre of the universe and everything that goes on within it is somehow of great interest beyond it's walls. Corporate

narcissism exemplified.
