  1. https://www.ramsey.gov.im/your-commissioners/freedom-of-information/foi043/ Its Ok though "The employee withdrew from meetings when this item was being discussed once the property had been put on the market" so no harm was done.

    TT 2024

Just look at the planning application and you can see the representations in full (apart from the names).
  3. Boo hoo, the snobby lounge is closed. Oh woe is me. Boo hoo, airport coffee is dear. Oh woe is me. Boo hoo, the website doesn't meet my expectations. Oh woe is me. You can always tell when a jet full of English* have landed. The whining continues after the engines stop. *Obvs not Amadeus, but at least the bins are emptied weekly😂
  4. The Commissioners may own the land on which it is built. PSCC will have known the risks when they built it.
  5. Jesus Dave, you don't like pubs, football or people potentially enjoying themselves. We've got that now. Ever thought of standing for the corpy elections, you appear to have the requisite skills.
  6. You're right. Grocery is an important topic and deserves debate. The "he said she said" twaddle is ruining such debate for even minded adults.
  7. Rubbish. I've been using Chester Street recently and its virtually empty. Its immediately adjacent to strand street and has two lifts. If people won't park there, they're hardly likely to park in a Government staff space at Hills Meadow!! Here's where the gov spaces are; Remember that some staff are contractually obliged to use their own vehicles for Government business. Paying for non-contractual parking was covered in a 2015 policy and they should all now be paying except that the charges were suspended during covid. These could be re-introduced tomorrow however the politicians all have spaces in Courts Underground which they're enjoying for free.
  8. Holy thread duplication Batman
  9. Jesus - will you listen to yourselves. Its Vicky Pollardesque No, but, yeah, but, no, but, yeah, but, no, but, yeah but I know because I'm not wasting police time because you know Micha? Well, she saw the whole thing, right, because she was bunking off school because she was gonna go down the wimbley and get off with Luke Griffiths, only she never because he's been trying to grow a moustache but it just looks like pubes, so she got off with Luke Torbet instead, only don't tell Bethany that because she's fancied Luke Torbet ever since she flashed her fanny at him during Home Ec'
  10. Shut up you big pooh-head
  11. They were - last night was hilarious. The number of kids suffering from anxiety and mental health problems which would be exacerbated by this drill, demonstrated the need for it.
  12. Can you give us some examples of dishes and prices - just for context.
  13. Not necessarily. Things are normally done via what is known as an International Letter of Request. This is done prosecutor to prosecutor and HMAG would then issue the appropriate instructions for forcible evidence gathering. You get a feel for the process in the Rivkin judgements https://www.judgments.im/content/J1036.htm
  14. It's probably worthwhile looking at the detail. The changes are publicized in the RTLC Applications, Decisions and Notices (ADN) circulars which are here https://www.gov.im/about-the-government/offices/road-transport-licensing-committee/ppv-drivers-operators/ppv-applications-decisions-and-notices-circulars/#accordion It all started in the January 2024 ADN None of the responses were published so we don't know who said what. In the 12 April ADN however we got the following; Then in ADN 570 a slight correction; There was no further explanation I could find and the minutes of their public meetings only go up to May 2023. https://www.gov.im/about-the-government/offices/road-transport-licensing-committee/document-library/minutes-of-meetings-held-in-public/ There's no indication that the Tariff 2 change was suggested by a driver or operator nor any detailed explanation why the Committee changed it or how they considered the wider impact. The Committee is by the way;
  15. It was announced on 12 April after consultation. See ADN Circular 569 https://www.gov.im/about-the-government/offices/road-transport-licensing-committee/ppv-drivers-operators/ppv-applications-decisions-and-notices-circulars/#accordion
  16. We have that here now. Despite all the cash Ken is raking in. A landlord told me that the invoice he got for training included VAT so Ken's doing OK. I was chatting to my local landlord last night and asked if he went to the Call to Arms. He said no and it was frankly embarrassing. He knows his business and his market and is doing OK. If there was some free Gov cash sloshing around he'd take it. If a business is struggling then it needs to look inwardly first. Chucking taxpayer money into underperforming businesses isn't the answer.
  17. He got the 2004 figures which are 21 years ago so pretty close to the 25. All obtained in a few seconds too. If he wants more he can look himself. Something which he clearly hadn't done.

  19. You're not looking hard enough. This doesn't split out "civil servants" who are a very specific group of admin and specialist officers who include prison officers, air traffic controllers, vets, lawyers and accountants among others. IIRC these number around 2500 of all public servants. This was found using google. This is from an FOI late last year (number 3486125)
  20. Politician talks through hole! Not really news😂
  21. Its on the agenda paper for next week https://www.tynwald.org.im/spfile?file=/business/opqp/opqp/2024-PP-0050.pdf There's a link from that to the response document.
  22. Weird post. P3 was in place until the English left the EU.
