Rubbish. Do a like for like comparison. Include hold luggage and throw in an overnight at each end. EZY through LPL for example requires an overnight each end. (My test was for 26/01 to 02/02). For 2 adults its around £800 for EZY and £1100 for the direct. Ezy would however require an extra day off work so the reality is there's not that much difference to make it a deal breaker.

WTF - The road closed around 8.00pm following an RTC. No details of the incident but all emergency services were called and there was a big blue lightshow going up the mountain. They kept the road shut afterwards due to ice. Victory cafe had already closed so I'm not sure why they would moan.
