These things are for the good and to be hoped for if they make these states more democratic.

I hope they are, and i hope it works,

but the same problems are still there and will be there for the short to meduim term, and a lot worse before the protests,

The report was confirmed this morning by Bahrain daily Al Wasat who indicated that just prior to leaving for his resort in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Mubarak became comatose.

Award for the best name of the week goes to:-

Mohammad Badie !!!

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood's leader who was arrested today for inciting violence etc etc....

On a more serious note, Egypt is in total meltdown its tourist industry ruined, we think we have problems? Sad, very sad how man can inflict such terrible acts on one another.

The army could hold the reins of power in Egypt for a long while yet, and it could be the least worst option. Having tasted electoral victory once, the Brotherhood aren't going to pick up their ball and leave. We haven't seen the worst yet I fear.

That is very likely SMUJ, especially as the army are the recipients of $1billion PA from the good old US of A.

A wise move on their part (USA) as they get control, for just a fraction of what it would cost to deploy troops for a full blown invasion. Human life is cheap.

The sooner the US slips into the pages of history like the Roman Empire the better. Their superpower crown is slipping already but they'll fight tooth and nail to hold on to it. Not good news for the rest of the world.
