Mission
Ah okay, the newspaper article I read stated he was standing in the new Douglas West constituency. Thread title changed to reflect this new information.
Moghrey Mie
David Fowler, a self employed businessman is the first candidate to declare his intention to stand in September's General Election in the newly drawn-up Douglas West constituency. David, who has lived in the constituency for over six years says his key priorities are to cut government waste and to ensure that our taxes are spent more efficiently. He would also make it a priority to promote tourism and hotels in a bid to boost the Manx economy. He also believes in protecting ratepayers from the new banding system, which could see rates bills rising if it is not stopped. He exists! https://www.facebook.com/Vote-David-Fowler-150790331996931/ But he is standing in Douglas South I apologise for doubting you Mission & also have to withdraw my 'Coherence Therapist' remark, regrettably A giant theme park, a Travel Lodge and buy your own council house- what more do you want? Donald Trumps
What is it about South Douglas that generates this harking for branded roadside bed factories?

With that haircut and jacket combo he looks like Chevy Chase in Fletch circa 1980.

Declan
done his homework, knows his target audience. should do well. He also goes on about the rates being unfair to those with larger properties. Which probably doesn't affect his target audience.

That reads like a Saturday Night Live comedy sketch. Even his voice sounds like its someone creating a comedy character to be interviewed.
Uhtred
I watched that half an hour ago and I'm still laughing. From the suit to the voice it's comedy gold. The only thing missing was his admission that he still has his Action Man (with accessories of course) and found train spotting just a bit too exciting.
