Tarne
http://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/breaking-tram-loses-control-on-mountain/ This time with passengers on. Just last year we had the one that smashed into smithereens on the side of the mountain. The usual excuses I'm sure, "Oh, she be right yessir"

Tarne
But it was sorted last time Albert, "just" a faulty brake after all. No harm done, no harm done. Horse from the horse trams faceplanted near the sea terminal today too, hilarity ensued.

It's a question of originality. They are bordering on the obsessive about it, in respect of keeping the trams as they always were. Unfortunately, it increasingly appears that it compromises safety in respect of standards. Remember that the investigation into last year's runaway was kept under wraps too. Odd that? Albert Tatlock
Health and safety should be in there...Longworth and his mob kept out and this investigated properly and independently. Those comments of his, as reported on MR, have the stench of complacency.
