To be honest when I think of Monaco I think of Sun, Sea, Grace Kelly, Herbie and the Man Who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo before those things.

Just I really think of tax dodgers and biking codgers when I think of the Island.

You have forgotten that Monaco also has classy shops and classy people. We’ve got Dealz, Sports Direct and not so classy people. Monaco also has people with money, whilst we have people who think they have money, but in reality haven’t got a proverbial pot to .........

Things I like about Monaco

Its not dear to get there

Its not overly dear to stay there

Its not overly expensive to eat out.

A weekly shop is no dearer than here.

The weather is quite nice

Its not in the least bit ashamed of what it is.

Its clean

People tend to have a bit of style, rather than bumming around in trackies

Judging by the rents asked for shops in Strand street and the price of a night out in Douglas some delusional people must believe we are a serious rival to Monaco or Monte Carlo!

£68,000 per year for the old dildo shop FFS!

Fantasy Island rates. People think the islands pavements are paved with gold, except there covered in dog shit and chewing gum.

It’s a strange place. I could afford to live there, but not actually live there, if that makes sense. Property prices are bonkers, but the cost of living is OK.
