The film industry became considerably less lucrative after 2007 changes to the relevant VAT rules. Yet in 2012 Eddie Teare was still quoting pre-2007 figures in order to justify "assertions of financial sustainability". Which there wasn't. Meaning that Eddie Teare was misleading the Tynwald Court. Nor was Eddie Teare the main driver, despite blatantly misleading Tynwald (IMHO) with out of date figures to support the charade.
