Who do you think will make more of an impact in an advocacy role in Tynwald & the House of Keys, & who the less?

That is not how it works unfortunately. A popularity contest and nothing more. I know of people voting for the “Manx” candidate. The female candidate just because there is one. The green candidate etc without even meeting them or having the slightest clue what they actually stand for. A sad state of affairs really. SleepyJoe
I suspect Mr Thomas's Agenda For Change will likely form much of the new programme for government
quilp
How long has this 'Agenda for Change' been on the cards?

Which was a wonderful success because they kept changing it to make it one... Depending who gets in next time you may find Thomas gets sidelined. 1
SleepyJoe
If we get another furtive conservative government I imagine they will outsource the writing of their programme for government to KPMG

It’s still only 3 candidates for 2 seats. I think the lawyer fella might be a dark horse , Chris had sadly become too much of a smart arse ,Tynwald is no place for academics and theorists, and on occasions over complicates matters like the planning system

The next CM would be wise to have him in the CoMin. Chris is very snart, perhaps top academic to be CM this time. Needs to drive things through and at pace.
