Two-lane
The Twitter post shows a "Public Statement" from the Isle of Man Gambling (not Gaming) Supervision Commission. They have a website, but I could not find the public statement on it. However both Dalmine Ltd and King Gaming Ltd are listed as licence holders. Note also that the screenshot does not include a date or time. Would a criminal investigation have been made public?

If there is an ongoing investigation, then it would have to already be well underway for the GSC to make a public statement on it. I suspect they found out after, given this was issued late afternoon when it had become apparent what was going on, as per OP.
Flubbergump
So whilst I remember the announcement ( https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/plans-approved-for-egaming-campus-on-former-cunninghams-camp-site/ ) but does anyone know if any government funding was provided as part of the development? There's a date on the bottom (frankly it's more organised of them than usual to do that). But it's not on the usual press release location. Edited to add: Separately issued by GSC here (bottom of links) Edited April 24 by Roger Mexico

Never assume because its on the Government website there's actual competence behind the news there.

It's always been gambling, egaming is an industry originating term to make the scumminess sound less scummy, a bit like Wealth Management versus tax avoidance.

"Council of Ministers" as opposed to "Collection of Incompetents" ?
Roger Mexico
One thing we can be sure of is that the "ongoing criminal investigation" wouldn't be happening without close coordination with the UK and possibly under its direction. If there were parallel raids in the UK (and maybe elsewhere) as with the Mone case it wouldn't surprise me. It might also explain any 'embargo' but it's rare for any of the media here to report any police actions independently rather than wait for the Facebook post or press release. This is a big deal in terms of the economic reputation Given that they now appear to break out the balaclavas every time someone gets a bit drunk in Pulrose, it would be a surprise if they hadn't. Maybe a toddler had throw a toy out of its pram on the Prom and they got diverted on the way. 5
