Anybody who is in receipt of a government pension and is working for government (CS) should be released from employment by the end of 2024. That will be a start.

Where appropriate, examine every government role that is taken by a government pension receiver under whatever terms. Simply terminate the position and work without it. The numbers have to be reduced, the CS must work harder.

What a load of rubbish. Not proven, not recorded, not audited. Massive housing advantages over normal Manx people. (Planning permission irregularities) Often rental property owners, screwing the population 100's of times over. Align with the 'Establishment' who steamroll over Manx citizens. Buying cars at Jackson's is hardly delivering true prosperity to the IOM does it? We can do so much better.

Surprise us. Show everyone the data. Proportionately, everyone else is paying more. If Government made an effort on keeping our younger people on Island, we'd be much better off.

Our stupid Government has a policy to attract HNW wrong uns like these people. Failed economics. Unfair tax - the rest of us pay higher proportion of income than these greedy people. Their mansion constructions are encouraged at the same time our moronic politicians restrict the property aspirations of everyday people. IOM Government fails again and again and again. Useless.

The rest of the year we suffer a few R plate dickheads and boy racer types taking the piss. Why not just take them off the road and get them to behave first?

Strategy is a work of a genius. Birth rates falling, young people doing everything possible to leave the Island. (Noticed how it's the smart ones with degrees who don't come back? We're reducing the average IQ too.) 10 years. No money, public services f*cked and everything fallen to bits.

Sez it all about another broken strand of government. Disproportionate, unaccountable and a bit of a farce.

What a truly brilliant piece of journalism. Locate to the IOM and enjoy a gold star health and education service. Simply be overwhelmed by the vibrancy of our local attractions and things to do. Be astonished about the youthfulness of the population that presents so many opportunities for young people. Add to that, our modern approach to a super lean, efficient government that is 100% accountable. Fairness and equal opportunities runs through the rich vein of quality life here.

Could the Guardian newspaper take a look at this? They're pretty sharp on IOM stories.

How many vehicles do the MUA own?

Loads of little vans whizzing around doing house to house with up to 150 packages per day. Add DHL etc, must be thousands per day.

Number of non post office parcel deliveries per day? 20k+?

We vote them in there. Nobody can argue with an inflation matching wage rise in public service. The free parking for civil servants is another issue. Our green agenda is promoting active travel and buses. This doesn't fit.
