xbones
Watched "The Wrestler" last night, TBH after all I'd heard about it I was a bit disappointed, the film seemed to drag a bit and there didn't really seem much point to it.
Rock
Watched "The Wrestler" last night, TBH after all I'd heard about it I was a bit disappointed, the film seemed to drag a bit and there didn't really seem much point to it. Watched it last week, thought it was fantastic -- albeit being a longitme wrestling fan may have had some bearing on my opinion
issues99
Watched rocknrolla last night, great film, a big improvement on revolver, but that's not really hard is it?
bluemonday
I watched Equilibrium again last night. Echoes of 1984, Fahrenhiet 451 and heavily overshadowed by Matrix when released but still not bad and quite visually stunning at times. alibaba
Another thumbs up for 'Dead Mans Shoes'. Watched 'Slumdog Millionaire' yesterday too. It's very good. And Frieda Pinto is mighty fine!
oogie boogie
Watched Enter the Dragon last night. utterly love it, Fist of Fury tonight As luck would have it I found a blank DVD laying round on the pavement outside my house yesterday and bugger me blind it's only got a copy of Frost/Nixon and Slumdog Millionaire on it. I might jus thave to check their authenticity before handing the disc over to the authorities.

Overdose
I watched 'The Spirit' on Saturday and unfortunately was really disappointed with it, it's not a patch on Sin City. There were a few good parts but not enough to save the film in my opinion. There were quite a few folk that got up and left during it too. Should have gone straight to DVD..... oogie boogie
oh dear.. The trailer for that looked quite good aswell. We have to wait another year before Sin City 2 is out. Need to go and see The Curious Curse of Benjamin Button, that looks alright.
leeiom
Enter the Dragon, one of my favorite all time films, and the more it ages the better it becomes. Propert seventies feel to it. Also Slumdog Millionaire, caught it by chance, and really enjoyed it. Shame its not a true story though! Jimi
I watched Southland Tales the other night ( IMDb link ). I wanted it to be good, and persevered with it but it was utter dross. Most disappointing Completely agree, I want my 2 hours and 15 minutes back! Only good thing about it was the music and Sarah Michelle Gellar, but even those couldn't save it. Watched Street Kings, Traitor, No Country For Old Men, The Condemned and Rescue Dawn recently. All great films, well worth watching again. alibaba
Need to go and see The Curious Curse of Benjamin Button, that looks alright. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is certainly that! Downright odd if you ask me. Most of it's pretty good but it slows down for about half an hour for no real good reason that I could see. Shill
Also Slumdog Millionaire, caught it by chance, and really enjoyed it. Shame its not a true story though! Aye, I watched that last night, thoroughly absorbing. Definately Danny Boyle at his brilliant best.
oogie boogie
Watched Requiem for a Dream again last night. Good little film. Of for some horror tomorrow night with Rec. Great Spanish fright fest.
Alias
Rec's decent (if a bit obvious in places)
