Where?

might it be King Edward Bay (golf club)

is the restaurant called Max ?

Tried it out yesterday following the recommendation on this forums and I must say we quite enjoyed it. It's nice to get some real service, the restaurant is well maintained (and has great views) the food was really tasty and we had an excellent meal.

Definitely will be going again

If any of you are visiting Liverpool go to Tess Rileys in the city centre, this Sunday had a full roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings followed by a large portion of apple crumble and custard, all for £4.95 I dont know how they do it. :)

I went to the raven - it was ok

Guy from the Raven has moved to Horse and Plough., brought his Thai chefs and menu with him. Horse and Plough used to be awful, not its very much worth a visit !

Is it just me or does the Raven have quite a high turnover of mangers?
