Has it achieved the desired aims so far or just been a total waste of resources (financial and manpower)? Any Minister out there care to offer their thoughts etc? Unfortunately, even trying to find a satisfactory solution will be hard and unpalatable for the general public to accept, because it will have a major financial burden for at least one Manx generation, who will have to fund these payments in the future. Maybe longer if they can't grow the population at the necessary projected rate. Given the ongoing growth of Govt numbers, all presumably with a pension entitlement, albeit on new terms or old, we need to attract people here like breeding rabbits to pay for it, now and into the future.
