Your asking a lot, getting a reply from Howard.

#whereyoucant #whereyoucsnsweepthingsunderthecarpet

in conclusion, it’s another failed Government initiative, which be confined to the dustbin, alongside ‘Freedom to Flourish’ and ‘Locate.im’.

Don't forget Douglas 2000.

So, we're just under two years away from IOMG's realisation of the mighty Vision 2020 project.

Has it achieved the desired aims so far or just been a total waste of resources (financial and manpower)?

Any Minister out there care to offer their thoughts etc?

"With regards to the bigger topics such as Public Sector Pensions, these are massive topics that have been ignored by far too many Manx Governments and our elected representatives.
Unfortunately, even trying to find a satisfactory solution will be hard and unpalatable for the general public to accept, because it will have a major financial burden for at least one Manx generation, who will have to fund these payments in the future.
Someone born today could be retired before the situation is fully resolved, which is unforgivable and a shame on the previous administrations"

Mr Callister seems to have a handle on things. Based on retirement age possibly being 70, the way things are moving, is he actually saying it's going to take 70 years to sort these problems out?

Maybe longer if they can't grow the population at the necessary projected rate.

Given the ongoing growth of Govt numbers, all presumably with a pension entitlement, albeit on new terms or old, we need to attract people here like breeding rabbits to pay for it, now and into the future.
