dilligaf
I thought you said away from farmland and sensitive conservation areas? I did.
Monkey boy
Surely Foxdale and Rushen mines, despite not being ideal venues for hundreds of drunken teenagers to congregate have some kind of conservation sensitivity and I'm pretty sure Sulby Glen and Druidale are both farmed. TheTeapot
Druidale has a 'sensitive verge' running along the side of the road. Poor thing.
Whimsy
I do feel sorry for kids today given a lot of the stuff teenagers got way with before we became this really petty place that seems obsessed with over regulating everything and nosing into everyone's lives. It seems such a shame. What are teenagers allowed to do for fun these days? From Twitter ====== We have been made aware that there may be a large gathering of people taking place for a party/festival tonight in the field opposite the Cat with no Tail in Douglas from 9pm to 4am. There will be a Police presence in the area from the very start to monitor this to ensure that if this is the case there is no drunkeness, anti-social behaviour, underage drinking or drug use. The Noise Act comes in to force at 11pm each night and ends at 7am during these times any excessive noise, especially within or near to a residential area; which this is will be stopped. Failure to comply could result in the seizure of any equipment or source responsible for the excessive noise. The penalty for an offence under the Noise Act is up to 3 months custody or a fine of up to £2,500, or both. If you are parent whose teenager is heading out tonight, do you you know where they are going and what they are doing? Anyone in the area who is underage and has alcoholic drink with them will have this removed from them. ===== Twitter? - that's a lot of characters. How come they get so many and I only get 140? It's one law for the establishment and another law for us poor ordinar,,,,,,,.
llap
Just seen this on Facebook, posted two hours ago: ** PARENTS PLEASE SHARE ** Just to update parents that there is apparently a get together around the Tromode area tonight for teens organised by 18/19 yr old lads to encourage teenage girls and boys. This will probably involve alcohol and drugs as it has done in the past "raves" and will no doubt be in a field with no lighting. Police are aware. Probably posted by one of the very same parents who will still be out on the piss tonight whilst their teenage kids stay in alone playing video games when they'd probably rather be at a teenagers party getting pissed themselves. llap
Why aren't there any trance music festivals in fields here for non-kids? The closest thing seems to be walking into a field with an ipad and watching youtube.

Tempus Fugit
I think the trance music was in a car either in front or behind me this afternoon, it was louder than the radio I was listening to, even with the windows closed

woolley
Not trance but anyone remember this? Great song, great video. My wife's favourite song when we met, Awww. Chuck. Good tune. I like the saxophone on the extended mix. OK there are no thongs and sexy bums, but you can't beat a bit of sax.
