Mr Bear
On a plus note, the competition has a slightly higher chance of winning while he's recovering.
La Colombe
Pretty horrendous injuries for John McGuinness ruling him out of this year's races. I bet he calls it a day after this. It just isn't that important.
j2bad
Sets up a good narrative for Guys' first TT win.
Non-Believer
Good call from Honda in withdrawing from the big classes...clearly problems with the new bike. Embarrassing for The Motor Company but safety has to come first. Let's hope that John McG's recovery is as smooth as possible.
woody2
i've got to say the bbc's coverage of the nw200 is far superior to itv4's coverage of the tt and i bet they don't have to pay.....

The new Fireblade clearly has too much development to be done, the 600 has not been developed since 2009 although it is still a great bike for the roads. Honda seem to go through these periods regularly, they design a great bike which stuns the world and then apply cosmetic changes over a period of years. Their competitors keep developing to catch up and pass them.
notwell
Anyone finishing in front of Hutchison will be winning. A lot depends on how well set up Dunlop is on that new bike. Dunlop will have a much better chance away from the big bikes if the Suzuki isn't dialed in.
manxb&b
The new Suzuki Gsxr1000 is leading the British Superstock championship straight out of the box so it seems to be a much better base bike than the blade.
