A fearsome team of politicians, accompanied no doubt with a few civil service carers to make sure the team don’t get any silly ideas like policy discussions. Mr Helmut Fromage
I see Tanya August - September - Hanson - Humbles MLC is there no doubt feeding straight back to Manx Radio. If she had two heads she'd be twice as stupid - another Establishment grunt - struggling to uncurl my toes again.

They do not have the affinity the IOM seems to have with the UK when it comes to relying on what they say to dictate policy. Quite right too. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_occupation_of_the_Channel_Islands It may be in the psyche, but it is hardly fair. I understand that you could scarcely make a case for charging them for defence! As for policy, there is little difference between the crown dependencies in their relationship with the UK. In extremis, they all do as they are told. How it looks is all about presentation.

Fooking hell, four hours of my life I'll never get back? It all becomes a self-sustaining cycle. We found someone on Jersey who says the visit was a success, therefore it was. A lot of these jollies are nominally funded by international bodies such as the CPA, but you wonder how much the extras cost and whether the 'minders' they always seem to need have to paid for by the Manx taxpayer. Baron Boot says that the cost of going to Jersey with nine others was "modest" yet failing to actually say how much it cost the tax-payer, or what, in detail, was gleaned from the trip.
