Just had a return trip across.

Car and 2 - cabin each way, morning sailing and over night return.

Booked it in June.  c£400

Great staff, service and on time.

Clean cabins, good sleep.

Boat for me every time now.  Foot and fly from a decent airport in the UK - or take the car.

Does anyone know if easyjet are pulling out from the MAN route ?

Got a message from a friend but I can see that they are still selling tickets.

Flights are still on sale until TT week next year.

They have 60%+ market share. despite the erratic schedules, from zero little over a year ago, without depleting their own Liverpool numbers. Obviously we don't know if they consider the yield that they are achieving to be satisfactory.

What made your 'friend' think this?

Did he get one of easyJet's infamous 'Important information about your flight....' e-mails?

Is it 'man in the pub talk'?

Is it rumour a started by Loganair's marketing people?

Absolutely, all this mundane simple run of the mill stuff is of no interest to the top corridor, it is just not sexy enough and contributes nothing to the CV. We needed a manager who wanted to run an airport not more development plans and reports.

Legacy left by Chris Thomas MHK who stated things were improving  at the airport , more likely lack of maintenance  and poor forward planning , and at the start of the second busiest weekend of the year ,  if the marshals cant get here then what chance Sundays MGP practice

How on earth will additional screening of outbound baggage impact the arrival of incoming passengers, which may include MGP marshals? 🤣

They're more likely to be affected by the cancellation of tomorrow's boats.

If you are a group of 4 traveling light, on or off the rock, it is often cheaper- if last minute - and MUCH more convenient to book a small private plane charter.

Look at the prices, it will surprise you.

Private plane charter is not just millionaire stuff.

Did look at this once. Was just slightly too expensive to convince all parties to do it. I think though there is a potential market there.

Can you let us have any examples?

Does nothing work at Ronaldsway?

Escalator out of action.

Baggage drop belt at Check-In broken. All bags have to go to oversize/referred bags which is scanning slowly. How they'll cope when 2 WZY are departing at nearly the same time?

Only one scanner and belt working at security.

Depressing

Yep thought exactly the same going through there tonight.

It was packed In departures.
