Not doing the Fondo this year, but have in the past and a few other similar. With a significant amount of glee, I can tell you that hooning along the (closed for a couple of hours) TT course in a peloton is amazing.

Cav has (finally) announced his retirement from pro cycling at the end of this year. 

So this will be the last Tour he will do and he only needs one more victory at the Tour to beat Merckx record. 

He's done well to last this long, but that very tempting carrot has been dangling for quite a while.
