I think you'll find that'll last the max of six month's then it will be an enforced wage reduction or lose your job.

at least the government slackers don't have to fake stress to get 6 months holiday on full pay anymore,  the ones that are currently on this jolly must be sick as a parrot that they have wasted their perk when they would have got it anyway.

Amazon are putting a Drone service in place for this.

Make sure your seatbelts are tight and be prepared to be left on the doorstep!!!

Running a large helicopter door to door would make a lot more sense at the moment

What's the operating cost for an EC130 or similar? About a grand an hour? So with wait and turnaround, could work for around 3k return from IOM to Liverpool? Divided by 6 passengers, or maybe even 7 or 8 (I remember the one we flew had six seats at the back and three at the front, but if you fly solo pilot it leaves two more spaces, weight allowing) you're looking at between 375 to 500 quid a pop. Back of a fag packet calculation, though, and many transfer patients won't be able to fly on a helo.

Air Ambulance operations cost about 12 grand a day to support in the UK. You’d need a bigger cab, like an EC145. Can be configured for either seating, or stretcher/ICU cases. But it saves masses of time. Direct lift from Nobles, or even from the scene, direct to the correct Centre of excellence. No hanging around in airports, transfer ambulances or taxis.

Put patient transfer on Manannan. Loads of space so people can be kept apart. No other passengers though.

An absolute no brainer. We have an in house patient transfer system direct from Douglas to Liverpool, plenty of room, virtually door to door.

Pretty sure that'll cost a tonne more to run than any aircraft type to carry enough passengers we send across.
