Don't see what the issue is - IoM airspace is regularly used by UK services for training. My niece who piloted helicopters for the RAF would quite often be over here - firstly as air sea rescue from RAF Valley and then Chinooks from RAF Odiham. She's now an instructor at No. 1 Flying Training School and they continue to do training flights in IoM airspace

Interestingly (or not) about 45 years ago the Isle of Man had a squad of men 'trained up' and those guys who got through the course like to brag they were in the SAS, although they weren't of course, but they were trained by a local SAS man (who died quite recently).

Yes, it flew over K Michael in the direction of the Scottish Borders.

I thought that it could have been a new passenger route arranged by Spake! 😂
