notwell
they should focus on some of the lazy wankers who can't park their car properly. Starting in Ashbourne Avenue. Some lazy price constantly parking on the pavement.
dilligaf
Absolute disgrace! George Orwell would be impressed no doubt. "Good Citizens" should (maybe) report dangerous drivers, but not stand at the side of the road trying to catch people out FFS. Hard to believe that this is not a JOKE ! thommo2010
People whinge that people speed and the police don't do anything about, there aren't enough officers to be out checking every road on the Island this isa possible solution and yet people still whinge. Don't speed and you have nothing to worry about.

Inspector Derek Flint
Unsurprisingly, the majority of complaints about speeding come from people in specific localities. This gives them the opportunity to help do something about it. Interspersed with enforcement deployments as well (coppers with a book of tickets and a laser), this should work well in keeping the roads that little bit safer. Lets give it a chance eh? It wouldn't do any harm to have someone around Saddlestone in the morning to slow some people down. And go and have a word about pavement parking (pure lazyness) in Ashboune Avenue at number 13 ;0)

cheesypeas
Sounds like a great idea this. The amount of drivers who drive over the speed limit, on what are generally tight roads is dangerous. Get someone on Quarterbridge Road with a speed gun, happy days. On a slight tangent, the number of red light runners coming up to the lights at Bray Hill from Tromode direction in the mornings, is going to end up in a nasty accident. Why can't they put cameras on traffic lights? If it makes folks think twice, then prevention is better than cure and all that. ....as for fecking tailgaters............... "Good Citizens" should (maybe) report dangerous drivers, That's the idea isn't it?. The amount of nutters who drive around built up areas routinely at 40 to 50mph is a disgrace and extremely dangerous. If a pedestrian or an animal steps into the road you have no chance of avoiding them at that speed. At low 30s you at least have a fighting chance. It is offensive and selfish and how much time does it really save on a journey? I hope it's a success.

One of my pet hates as well. They're mostly "amber gamblers" crossing the line right at the end of the amber light. They fail to understand that amber actually means "stop", not "floor it before it changes to red"
