Bill1977
He IS another word beginning with L. I think you will find that word is ‘legend’! Calling out the government for yet another deadly fiasco.

Isn't the increase in mortality likely to be the reduced access to medical services during Covid and the subsequent issues with waiting listings and getting an early diagnosis afterwards? How are countries with private healthcare faring?

ricardo
The below article seems worthy of an ‘un-flounce’: https://suavek1.substack.com/p/the-processing-trap-by-felix-feistel The image below is from the World Health Organisations’ own figures.

All explained here. Masks are really good at reducing influenza virus spreading, as is social distancing. No brainer really. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9862942/ conclusion In conclusion, this study found that influenza reduction was consistently related to a higher mask-use ratio across three of the four analyzed seasons. In the winter season in the Northern hemisphere, a low human social distancing index was consistently related to the reduction in influenza. These results may suggest that a surge of influenza is controllable through effective preventive measures and should be put into place during a possible pandemic of novel influenza viruses. To sum up, without masks and distancing we’d have had influenza and covid together. One doesn’t stop or interfere with transmission of the other. Without masks and social distancing covid could have been much worse.

It couldn’t have been that the entire thing was made up from start to finish. If you decide to read the article you might learn something. Useful. Life saving even. You are a nutter masks are effective why do surgeons where them for operations, just do proper research out of books not the Internet

Since I am sure you are not alone in that belief I chose not to offer any comment on the WHO stats above, or the incredibly well researched Substack link. Should anyone decide to read it you will find its’ perspective anything but fanciful. We are heading for very interesting times - ‘Covid’ was just the start.. And masks will not help.
