  1. It’ll pass almost unanimously and The Squeaker will moan about not having enough time to read and remind everyone he was once an accountant.
  2. Who was it used to do the talking heads of local politicos a few years back. Maybe that’s what they’re *really* after.
  3. If Ricardo’s worried about it, im all over it as the best thing since a cure for Covid.
  4. Don’t tell the death row people in Alabama this

    Scams

At least we know it wasn’t Glenn Cooper.
  6. Those videos and the FoIs are probably what he’s talking about.
  7. The smaller parishes keep rates low by not doing stuff and leaving central government to pick up the tab - e.g. responsibilities under public health act and building control act.
  8. Inspectors report - is online as part of the appeal documents in the link https://services.gov.im/planningapplication/services/planning/planningapplicationdetails.iom?ApplicationReferenceNumber=22/00149/GB
  9. I wonder if they’ll be inviting Howard Quayle to their new place or if he’ll go see them in jug.
  10. The GT report is usual bollocks where they benchmark against other things they’ve been involved with and justify their recommendations here with how well they’ve done in the past.
  11. Nope, all centralised as a shared service. As someone who has had experience what the report doesn’t bring out is the general overwork and/or incompetence of individuals, meeting after meeting and fuck all being documented. See e.g Ransom and the Grantham meetings.

    Firm closing

All goes in the common pool and then divided up at a later date, rather than direct to us.
  14. I was thinking again about Brexit and the UK ended up in large part with what the IoM had always had since 1973.
  15. Trying to be neutral and leaving aside the shitness of Government, a lot of what they ask for is more and better ongoing services for normal things, but that will come at a cost, assuming we can recruit at all. More tax, vicar?
  16. Delays and diversions to other traffic, police and fire costs attending incident, medical related costs, attending, transporting, treating, post mortem etc., plus doing statements for inquest and attending, DoI statements re road for inquest, Court time, plus witness attendance cost when not covered as above.
  17. There’s a forum somewhere for that.
  18. The level of ignorance displayed by the same ones fuming at the vigils occurrence or saying it is pointless means it’s probably served its purpose.
  19. It’ll be Bridson based on previous ballbaggery https://www.judgments.im/content/J2498.htm
  20. Moulton’s trying to turn himself into the story, using Dr Ranson’s narrative that she was the only canary singing for closure.
  21. I think it was a waste of time and money getting that QC when we could’ve had Paul and Chris us all where it went wrong and how.

  23. Leaving aside the gas v wind argument when it comes to offshore, the Danish world leaders are my preferred choice over guys who can’t finish an estate in Crosby.
