Court employee stole £98,000 from workplace

It does make you wonder what kind of cash accounting systems and verification they have in there. Doesn't sound fit for a chip van let alone a court of law. What a showing up of incompetence. They have the nerve to search you if you go in the building. Maybe they should be searching the ones coming out.

Yes - the irony of being chased for an outstanding fine for something like a parking or other minor offence only to discover that one of their own staff has nicked the fine you paid to the Court in good faith. Seriously wrong.

I don't see the fuss.

A girl stole money and she was caught. Obviously processes were sufficient to catch her. This could and does happen in all sectors (churches, charities, business ....).

You should make a fuss when money is stolen and no one is caught/found accountable.

49 year old woman-when do they stop being called 'girl'

When they are 56?

And it always takes two of them to search you!

Told you..... Parkinson's Law is the order of the day.
