You started it with your fake news...

What fake news? The news is (better check with a lawyer how I word this) cafe two six is locking its doors. No customers to pass the threshold any time soon.

Will that do Lawyer.

Sorry you don’t understand that “closing” and “selling as a going concern” are contradictory and mutually exclusive.

100% in the pompous arsehole look at me comment award section JW - seriously not your finest moment, legally qualified or not, and also having Neil Down kissing your arse doesn't enhance it.

I never actually went to one, but I can assure you that JW can hold a wild party, or at least did, not too long ago.

I know a few people who went to them down Cronkbourne way.

Dilli - quote the right post please.

I pretty much did. You tried to belittle JW after he was called a bore at parties.

I think I rectified that remark.

( but apart from that I don't give one )

I find it quite fascinating as to how some people love to dream about spending other peoples money (OPM).

'Lets build a hotel, but not apartments' 'It's a sure fire winner' - just as long as its not my money being risked.

'We will not allow you to do this, only to do that' so do it, but at your risk not ours.

'Keep the development low key' (don't worry about the associated lack of income) - but at the the same time 'Make it high quality' (at your cost).

'Build my dream not yours' - but spend your money not mine.

Dreamers.

A beautiful site Derby Haven, capable of a beautiful top grade development, way,way above the 19th hole and 2/6, but some people expect others to spend mega-bucks on a site-specific development and then reap the returns on a mediocre hotel and 'Good' places to eat (19th& 2/6) for a tenner a head.

Real world anytime soon? Nah, thought not.

I don’t do those type of parties.

Each to their own I suppose

The usual, buy it, let it rot, get your own way on what is built.

And if that doesn't work, a mysterious fire will do the trick.....
