Manxman delivered today to new owners :)

Manxman set to arrive at the end of June - Manx Radio

Look forward to seeing her in Manx waters.

At 133m she'll be quite a tight fit in our harbour, and did Moorehouse ask yet if she can berth at the new Liverpool Terminal? 🤔

What could possibly go wrong?

low water in Liverpool will be fun  the new berth is on part of the shallowest parts of the river , it used to almost dry out there on spring tides , still say they should have done a deal with Stena and gone to Birkenhead  would have saved many millions    but vanity over ruled sanity ! and we haven't  even staffed the new terminal yet !  and Liverpool with be looking for vehicle congestion  charges for vehicles entering the City  soon

But. Baker and Harmer wouldn't have got their names on the plague to immortalise the two clowns who have cost the Manx Public, what will be well over a £100 million pounds on two projects, The Prom and the Liverpool Landing Stage.

There was a clue in the name Princes Half Tide Dock. It’s only been known for around 200 years or so.

You can't really blame Baker. The damage was already done. He was no Sam Allerdyce though

Less than the £150m we’re using from reserves to subsidise services this year and it’s something permanent, yes not great but we need to move on from projects already committed

Cue Chris Thomas to advise the public that this was all actually built into the schedule and that it and the budget are all still currently within estimates.

Don’t worry, there will be more endless excuses before March 2024 as to why it won’t be operational, and will miss its March 2024 deadline. Absolutely pathetic.

Why are announcements delegated to Gef? Minister Thomas should have made the announcement yesterday in Tynpotwald. Or does he only want to trumpet positive headlines and let another media organisation announce bad news?

The inquiry by the PAC is a complete waste of time, this saga will run and run.
