Police vs Castletown Festival

Not a peep on this on the IOM Government Propaganda Mouthpiece Manx Radio. Nothing like surpressing news, especially when the states law and order outfit are involved. The most stupid thing, the IOM Constabulary 'Clowns' will involve themselves with rules and regulations but will turn blind eyes to whatever suits them. Have they got any convictions yet for the spate of burglaries in late 2015, early 2016? Of course not! Gary Roberts passes round the begging bowl ........ again.

Think there tends to be a minority of local knobheads who use the event as an all day drinking session and start being twats by tea time coz they can't handle their ale. So sounds like cops have used this as an excuse to try and prevent having to deal with them....fair on everyone else? No probably not.... But there you go.

threats of legal action, and there actually being anything in reality to charge you with are 2 different things,   do as i say or else  springs to mind,  but i still wouldn't advise pushing it,  they might have to send all 6 officers on duty down there with the dog.

I think the first time I saw a live band was at the Confetti carnival in the evening in about 1981.

Anyway, they've done up the square - specifically to facilitate this kind of even, but with a 6 pm curfew.

For those hankering for live music this evening Baad Acid @ Noa Bakery is better then any old tribute act.
